SCHOOL RULES



  1. Please ask Atlantic Language to forward to you a copy of our “STUDENT HANDBOOK 2009” before arrival.


  1. Enjoy your language holiday

  2. Speak as much English as possible

  3. Leave your passport with your leader or Host Family

  4. Tell us if you have a problem with the host family

  5. Be back at your host family before 22.30 or earlier if the family / leaders agree so. Students aged 12-15: 2100

  6. You are staying with a family, not in a hotel or guest house, please respect the wishes and advice of the host family at all times

  7. Call home using the international call cards. Do not use host family telephone

  8. Tell the family what you are doing each day and each evening

  9. Take a taxi with two or three others, if you miss the last bus

  10. Always stay in groups together if walking home

  11. Try not to be late for class and for tours

  12. Be careful when out at night. Irish Drinking laws are different to your country

  13. Always bring rain wear and warm clothes, the weather can change very quickly

  14. If you smoke, smoke outside the school buildings and host family home

  15. In class, try and participate as much as possible

  16. Keep the classrooms and school clean

  17. Do not climb on walls of roof patio

  18. Coffee and snacks are provided in the school snack shop

21. If you are caught shoplifting, drinking alcohol, or involved in antisocial behaviour, you will be sent home to your country immediately and at your own expense.
