A group of 43 students enjoyed the movie "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader", an adaptation from the book with the same title written by C. S. Lewis. We had a lot of fun and the movie gave us a lot to think too! We will share it after Christmas... Meanwhile, you can have a look to some pictures from the day.

Christmas Cards
What is a Christmas Card?
Why don't we ask "Wikipedia"?
A Christmas card is a greeting card sent as part of the traditional celebration of the Christmas in order to convey between people a range of sentiments related to the Christmas and holiday season. Christmas cards are usually exchanged during the weeks preceding Christmas Day by many people (including non-Christians) in Western society and in Asia. The traditional greeting reads "wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year". There are innumerable variations on this greeting, many cards expressing more religious sentiment, or containing a poem, prayer or Biblical verse.
- May the good times and treasures of the present
become the golden memories of tomorrow.
Wishing you lots of love, joy and happiness.
Merry Christmas!
- With all Good Wishes
for Christmas and the New Year.
- Peace, good will and happiness
for you at Christmas and always.
- May the Christmas season
fill your home with joy,
your heart with love
and your life with laughter.
- Merry Christmas and Best Wishes
for a Happy New Year
Or if you prefer, you could send short Christmas poems like this one:
Christmas
~Anon
Every time a hand reaches out
To help another....that is Christmas
Every time someone puts anger aside
And strives for understanding
That is Christmas
Every time people forget their differences
And realize their love for each other
That is Christmas
May this Christmas bring us
Closer to the spirit of human understanding
Closer to the blessing of peace!
Today, thanks to the Internet and new technonologies, we can even send songs for Christmas!!
How about sending Celine Dion's famous song?

Music and feelings
During this year, we will listen to some songs in English in order to learn new vocabulary, but can you think about these questions first?
Why do you like music?
Why do we have feelings?
Why do we get excited with songs? or why do we get sad?
Behind every song there's always an emotion. The following page suggests songs that follow our feelings.
Click on the link and then look up the words that you don't know:
How do you feel today? Leave your comments...
